Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 2, 2025
Little Wonder is built by a small team that respects your privacy. We're parents ourselves, and we treat your data the way we'd want ours treated. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what rights you have.
About This Policy
Little Wonder is operated by Son of The Pharaoh, owned by Jacob Adly in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
We built Little Wonder to help families track their pregnancy journey in a private, thoughtful way. This privacy policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information.
We comply with Canadian privacy laws (PIPEDA) and take inspiration from GDPR principles. You have full control over your data.
What We Collect
When you sign in with Google, we collect your name, email address, and profile photo through Google OAuth.
Pregnancy tracking data you provide: due date, baby name, partner name, healthcare provider information.
Journal entries including text content and mood selections.
Bump photos you upload to share your journey.
Kick counter data (stored locally in your browser's localStorage, not on our servers).
Weight tracking entries, appointment details, and contraction timer data.
We collect this information solely to provide you with the Little Wonder pregnancy tracking experience.
How We Store & Protect Your Data
All data is stored on Supabase, which runs on secure AWS infrastructure in North America.
Photos are stored in Supabase Storage with access controls.
All data transmission is encrypted using industry-standard TLS/SSL.
Row-level security (RLS) policies ensure you can only access your own household's data.
Your kick counter data stays entirely on your device in localStorage and never leaves your browser.
We use Google OAuth for authentication—we never see or store your password.
How We Use Your Data
To provide the Little Wonder app features: weekly pregnancy info, journal, photos, kick counter, appointments, etc.
To enable partner sharing when you generate an invite code and link accounts.
To send you email notifications (if you opt in) for milestones and reminders.
We do NOT use your data for advertising, marketing, or analytics.
We do NOT sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for their commercial purposes.
We do NOT train AI models on your journal entries or photos.
Partner & Household Data Sharing
Little Wonder allows you to share your pregnancy journey with your partner by generating a secure invite code.
When you link accounts, both partners join the same 'household' and can view and add journal entries, photos, and tracking data together.
Both partners explicitly consent to this data sharing by generating or redeeming an invite code.
Either partner can unlink at any time from the Partner Access page, which separates the household data.
After unlinking, each partner retains their own entries and photos.
Third-Party Services
Google OAuth: We use Google for authentication. Google's privacy policy applies to their authentication service.
Supabase: Our backend database and storage provider. Data is hosted on AWS in North America. See Supabase's privacy policy.
Vercel: Our web hosting provider. Vercel does not have access to your data. See Vercel's privacy policy.
We do NOT use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking tools.
We do NOT serve advertisements or use ad networks.
Your Rights: Access & Export
You have the right to access all your data at any time by using the app.
You can export your entire pregnancy journey (journal entries, photos, and data) from the Profile page using the 'Export My Journey' feature.
This creates a downloadable keepsake with all your data in a portable format.
You can request a copy of your data at any time by emailing jadly16@gmail.com.
Your Rights: Deletion
You have the right to delete your data at any time.
You can delete individual journal entries or photos from within the app.
You can delete your entire account and all associated data from the Account Deletion page (Profile → Delete Account).
Upon account deletion, all your data (profile, journal entries, photos, appointments, weight data) is permanently removed from our servers.
Kick counter data stored in localStorage is cleared by clearing your browser data.
This right to deletion complies with GDPR (Europe) and PIPEDA (Canada) regulations.
Cookies & Local Storage
Little Wonder uses cookies only for essential authentication via Supabase Auth.
We use browser localStorage to store your kick counter data and temporary app preferences on your device.
We do NOT use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
You can clear cookies and localStorage through your browser settings at any time.
Children's Privacy
Little Wonder is designed for expectant parents and is not intended for use by children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at jadly16@gmail.com.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active.
Journal entries, photos, and tracking data are kept until you delete them or delete your account.
Expired invite codes are kept for 90 days for security audit purposes, then automatically deleted.
After account deletion, all data is permanently removed within 30 days (with backups purged after 90 days).
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons.
When we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email (if you've provided one) or through an in-app notice.
The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last revised.

We're here to help. If you have any questions about this privacy policy or how we handle your data, please reach out.
